Easy to install:

1. Loosen the action screw until the action is free from the stock.
2. While holding the safety midway between “on” and “off” slide the action from the stock.
3. Push the large bolt stop pin from the action. You can push it out from either side. You may need to use a punch, but usually the steel pin slides out easily.
4. Push the TKO/22 Action Buffer in place until flush with the action housing.
5. Place the action back in the stock and retighten the action hold down screw. Don’t overtighten.
